Hide and I met up in Shibuya yesterday after I finished maid-related work in Akihabara and went to that classic Tokyo date spot... Tokyu Hands, the giant craft/lifestyle store that sells everything ever.
I came really close to buying some expensive modelling clay thanks to a display of the cutest models ever, which were different from the usual miniature sweets/cakes that these shops usually have on display:

Seriously, how adorable are these? (Click for a larger image!)
Omg, the coffee cup/cream jug combo (≧▽≦)!!
According to the profile posted above the models (with a really cute self-portrait in clay) the artist is called Fujii Kakuho, he's from Chiba, and he graduated from the master's programme at Tokyo Kougei (Craft) University in 2009. He's on Twitter (@kakuho_fujii) and has a really adorable website called Marui Sekai ("Round World"). I've tweeted him about this post, so hopefully it's OK to post photos of his stuff! He also works as an illustrator.
